De Balzac, luxury and Krakow hotel.


Since ages the city of Krakow has been a tourist attraction that enchanted visitors, foreign students and nobelty staying here. 'Pod Roza' hotel surely remembers a lot from Krakow's history - as it is now the oldest hotel in the whole city! It used to accommodate such famous people as Tsar Alexander I or Honore de Balzac as well as well-known in today's world guests, among them Lech Walesa, Roman Polanski or Jose Carreras.
This luxurious hotel belongs to the groups of Likus hotels (together with Stary or Copernicus hotel in Krakow). Two restaurants are situated in glass-roofed countryard of the tenement house (in which Pod Roza hotel is situated) while wine shop is located in the cellars.
